Exhaust Filter

Pump Exhaust Filter
During rotary vane pump operation, oil mist escapes from the exhaust port mainly when pumping between atmospheric pressure and 1 mbar. Safe operation of a rotary vane pump requires an Oil Mist Filter to be mounted above the pump’s exhaust port. The Filter system contains the mist and returns it to the pump body. Oil Mist Filters do not trap gas.

Oil free scroll pumps generate particles from the tipseals. To prevent particles to enter the laboratory, we recommend to install particle dust filters on the exhaust of the scroll pump.
