R & S-type Thermocouple, the main difference between type S and R is the higher percentage of Rhodium in the type R. This makes this thermocouple cable more expensive yet gives a (small) higher output and is overall a bit more stable than the type S.
R-type Thermocouple feedthroughs are made of: Platinum 13% Rhodium (+) and Platinum (-). S-type Thermocouple feedthroughs are made of: Platinum 10% Rhodium (+) and Platinum (-). Screw type connections. Air and Vacuum side Connectors are included.
They are used as control sensors, in semicon and glass manufacturing.
Temperature range 0 to 1540 °C
