Overpressure relief valves are essential for preventing your vacuum chamber from experiencing over pressurization. This type of valve employs a spring-loaded mechanism, where a spring pulls a plunger with a Viton o-ring seal against a sealing face. When overpressure occurs relative to the ambient pressure of the valve, it acts against the spring, allowing the valve to open. The opening pressure can be adjusted by altering the spring preload.
These spring-loaded valves are adjustable and constructed from St. Steel 304. They provide leak-tight protection up to 1.10 e-7 mbar.l/sec.
