The BNC Floating Electrical Feedthrough features dual concentric conductor paths, each insulated with high-purity alumina ceramic. This design is favored for its quick connect coupling and compact size, making it popular in various applications.
Commonly utilized for low power, BNC series feedthroughs come in floating shield types, which offer two isolated conductor paths: an outer metal conductor tube (shield) surrounding a central cylindrical conductor pin. These paths are electrically separated from each other and from the mounting flange.
Our BNC feedthroughs facilitate hermetic connections to BNC-style coaxial cables in Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) environments, and they include an atmosphere-side connector.
