Single LN2 Feedthroughs, designed for fluid passage into vacuum environments for both open and closed loop systems, feature an added tube section that serves as an extended thermal pathway.
This design reduces ice buildup and condensation on the atmospheric side of the flange. Single LN2 feedthroughs are produced with coaxial tube geometries, creating a thermal barrier that significantly diminishes condensation and ice accumulation around the mounting flange interface, thereby safeguarding the seal’s integrity.
This precaution becomes essential due to the pronounced thermal differentials experienced when dealing with liquid nitrogen.
