Overpressure relief valves serve to prevent your vacuum chamber from becoming over pressurized. Operating on the suspended-body principle, the overflow valve responds to any overpressure relative to the valve’s ambient pressure by elevating the suspended body.

The opening pressure is determined by the size of this suspended body. Installation of these valves requires a vertical orientation. They are designed to be leak-tight, offering protection up to 1.10 e-5 mBar.l/sec.
